Dungaree Daze*

Dungarees - €21 ll Hoodie - €14 ll Socks - €4 ll Shoes - €13 (All from Primark)
Can you actually believe it is nearly the end of January already? To me the first month of 2017 has flown by! It was without a doubt the beginning of what I feel is going to be a very exciting year for Love Life - I can just feel it. The first few weeks have been crazy busy between working in retail, my College Exams and life in general but thankfully I am back to normality this week and just in time for a new month. I have some very exciting plans up my sleeve for this year with some being announced v.soon and I cannot wait. First off is a passion of mine but something I have attempted and failed numerous times but hey you have got to fall before you can rise, so that's the plan. I am finally staying true to who I am and I couldn't be happier with it!
This look is an absolute steal and I adore it! The perfect street style look that won't cost you a fortune. "Dungarees" are making a comeback for S/S 17' so I wanted to stay ahead of the crowd and wear them now. I am 5'8ish so finding dungarees long enough for me can be an absolute nightmare but these ones from Primark are the best fit ever and a steal at €25. Keeping them the focal point of the look with a simple "Khaki Oversized Hoodie" which was €14. Of course I couldn't keep my footwear simple, these "Black Suede Flatforms" were a must at €13 and not to forget my "Gold Sparkle Fishnet Socks" which were only €4. Looks like this are cool, comfy and casual making it the perfect look for a day full of adventures.

Jumper & GG Belt - Love Cherish ll Pants - MissGuided ll Net Socks - Primark ll Shoes - Vans
When it comes to my blog posts I try to tell you all a story, something interesting or topical instead of your run of the mill plain fashion post but today I am stuck a little! Life is a rollercoaster that's for sure and it can be taken away from you in the blink of an eye. This week my family and I lost a loved one, someone I can't remember a day of my childhood without. A man who had his entire life left to live but will never have the chance. It hurts, that's a given but if it has thought me anything it is to live life. Live in the present and make every single moment count. In today's world we are constantly living our lives through our phones and social media and I can't help but say I do the same. If we are not uploading photos to Facebook, we are Snapchatting what we are having for dinner, but is that an actual life? Once in a lifetime moments are slipping by because our heads are stuck in a phone but is this now our reality. Personally I am going to make a more conscious effort to put down my phone and experience life through the two eyes in my head, isn't that what they are for?
Which brings me to today's look, simple but shocking. I adore simple pieces of knitwear like this gorgeous "Bright Orange Jumper" from Love Cherish as they are incredibly versatile pieces. Easily worn day or night, it is a statement piece on it's own. With it being such a bright colour I wanted everything else to be clean and simple so the usuals were a must. "Black Leather Skinnies", "Old School Vans" and of course my "Fishnet Socks", or hairnets for my feet as my cousin calls them. It's comfy, slightly glam and a look that could bring you anywhere. It's all about being ready for any occasion!

Starry Eyed.

Jacket & Jumper - MissGuided ll Jeans - Zara ll Belt  - ll Glasses - Ace & Tate ll Hat & Socks - Primark ll Boots - Public Desire
Some days I feel extremely creative, I have so many ideas for different looks and then on other days I have nothing! It made me think back to when I first decided to take my blog seriously and how much it has grown and developed since then - it makes me extremely proud of how far I have come. I personally think I have a very creative and visual soul, which can be very exciting which is why I love having a fashion blog. I can express myself through the clothes I wear and the looks I create which is an amazing thing to be able to do. Everyday I feel like I create a new personality while at the same time I am still being me - which brings me todays look!
I spent hours on a daily basis when I was younger running around the playground, laughing with my friends with my head dancing among the stars - life was simpler then which is why I thought it would be the perfect place to shoot my new Public Desire "Glitter Star Boots". Creating a very urban look with some basic "Mom Jeans" and a "Camouflage Parka" which I actually picked up on Boohoo Man. Proving that I do wear the same item twice, I decided to incorporate my MissGuided "Cropped Jumper" which was also in my previous look to show how versatile some pieces can actually be. This is a very "stand outside the box" look for me but it's looks like this that I love. Why blend in when we were born to stand out?
