Back On Track.

Anyone that knows me, knows how much I love my food! I will go straight to McDonalds before the thought of eating something healthy even crosses my mind! That being said though, being so indulgent with my food means I need to keep on track with my exercise. Lately I have been very lazy because the thoughts of the gym actually frightens me but once I get back into a routine I know I will be flying it. Instead I have been taking the more health conscious route when it comes to my daily routine, taking the stairs instead of a lift, making sure I drink at least 2 litres of water a day along with staying on my feet in work and the odd evening walk here and there. Nothing strenuous trust me, I love to laze about but just enough to keep my metabolism up and to make sure I remain comfortable in what I wear and how I feel! That being said, i've decided to kick things up a notch with the longer evenings and remotely better weather! I have a lot of plans for this Summer with a lot of festivals and trips with my friends so I want to make sure I feel the best I can feel. I guess what I am trying to say is you don't have to cut out the things you love to tone up a little bit, there is enough pressure on us with other things that watching every single thing you eat should not be one of them. If you feel like having a McDonalds, have it. If you want that 99 with sprinkles, get it! Life is too god damn short to be worrying how many calories you are having, you are entitled to treat yourself to nice things every once in awhile just get active in some shape or form to balance out the bad with the good. We aren't rabbits, we're not supposed to live on lettuce and salads!!
